Abstract

Abstract: Employee job satisfaction is influenced by interactions with colleagues, superiors, work environment, and applicable regulations. This research aims to analyze the influence of motivation and competence on job satisfaction with organizational culture as a mediator, among generation Z employees in West Jakarta. This quantitative research used purposive sampling and SmartPLS 4.0 with 110 respondents. The research results show that motivation and competence have a significant effect on job satisfaction, and organizational culture strengthens this impact. These findings provide insight for companies to increase job satisfaction through managing motivation, competence and a supportive organizational culture, which in turn increases productivity and organizational performance.

Abstrak : Kepuasan kerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh interaksi dengan rekan kerja, atasan, lingkungan kerja, dan aturan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan kompetensi terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan budaya organisasi sebagai mediator, pada karyawan generasi Z di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan purposive sampling dan Smartpls 4.0 dengan 110 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan budaya organisasi memperkuat dampak tersebut. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja melalui pengelolaan motivasi, kompetensi, dan budaya organisasi yang mendukung, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja organisasi.
