Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of CSR disclosure towards
firm value and the moderation of institutional ownership on this effect. The data
used in this study are secondary data from coal production sub-industry
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the priod of 2021-2023.
The sample is selected using the purposive sampling method and the data
obtained amounted to 14 companies. The data is processed by using Eviews 12
Student Version. Outputs obtained from this study indicates that CSR disclosure
has a significantly positive effect on company value and the existence of
institutional ownership weakens the effect of CSR disclosure on company value.

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh
pengungkapan CSR terhadap nilai perusahaan serta moderasi dari kepemilikan
institusional terhadap pengaruh tersebut. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini adalah data sekunder dari perusahaan subindustri produksi batu bara yang
terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2021-2023. Sampel dipilih
dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan data yang diperoleh
berjumlah 14 perusahaan. Data diolah dengan menggunakan Eviews 12 Student
Version. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pengungkapan CSR
berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap nilai perusahaan serta keberadaan
kepemilikan institusional memperlemah pengaruh pengungkapan CSR terhadap
nilai perusahaan.
