Abstract
Pesatnya persaingan industri membuat banyak perusahaan kesulitan
mempertahankan keberlangsungan bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui
pengaruh engaging leadership dan perceived organizational support terhadap
keterikatan kerja karyawan di PT. XYZ, dengan dimediasi kepuasan kerja.
Penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan purposive sampling,
melibatkan 197 responden dengan masa kerja di atas enam bulan. Analisis
menggunakan SmartPLS dan menunjukkan engaging leadership berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap keterikatan dan kepuasan kerja, perceived organizational
support hanya signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja terbukti
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterikatan kerja, dan memediasi pengaruh kedua
variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menemukan implikasi pentingnya meningkatkan
pelatihan engaging leadership dan memperkuat dukungan organisasi, sehingga
mampu meningkatkan kepuasan dan keterikatan kerja karyawan demi
keberlangsungan dan pertumbuhan perusahaan dalam bertahan menghadapi
persaingan industri.

The intense competition within the industry presents significant challenges for
companies to sustain their operations. This study examines the impact of engaging
leadership and perceived organizational support on employee work engagement at
the PT. XYZ, with job satisfaction as a mediator. Using a descriptive quantitative
approach and purposive sampling, the research involved 197 respondents with over
six months of tenure. Analysis with SmartPLS revealed that engaging leadership
significantly influences work engagement and job satisfaction, while perceived
organizational support affects only job satisfaction. Job satisfaction significantly
predicts work engagement and mediates the relationship between both variables.
These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing leadership programs and
organizational support to improve employee satisfaction and engagement, ensuring
business sustainability.
