ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS IN TARUMANAGARA UNIVERSITY

(E) Abstract: Indonesia is a very rich country both in terms of Natural Resources (SDA)
and Human Resources (HR). This wealth in the field of natural resources and human
resources is certainly a positive thing for the Indonesian people if it is utilized properly.
Discussing the wealth of human resources owned by Indonesia, according to statistical
data there are still 4.82% of the 281,603.8 million people who are still open
unemployed. An alternative way that can be applied is to empower human resources
through entrepreneurship programs that can be started by providing entrepreneurship
education to students when they study in college. This is reflected in the opinion
conveyed by Gulzar & Fayaz (2021) which states that the easy generation is a person
who plays an important role in the future progress of the nation. Not only that, there
needs to be activities that encourage critical thinking from students so that students are
able to see things from different perspectives and solve problems with creative solutions
found. Speaking of creativity, psychology students have their own advantages which
are allegedly very useful to be able to develop products that are useful for the wider
community in accordance with psychological needs. This study uses a descriptive
quantitative method with the aim of providing a factual description of the phenomena
experienced by research subjects in the field and using purposive sampling techniques
so that each sample has the same opportunity. The sample in this study amounted to 95
students majoring in psychology at Tarumanagara University who had taken
psychopreneurship courses. The results of this study state that there is a positive and

intention. The conclusion of this study is the need to continue entrepreneurship
education and consistency from universities to continue to create an environment that
supports the emergence of creative ideas from each student so that the confidence of
students can continue to increase and entrepreneurial intentions will grow slowly.

(E) Abstrak: Negara Indonesia merupakan negara yang sangat kaya baik ditinjau dari
Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) maupun Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Kekayaan di
bidang SDA dan SDM ini pastinya merupakan suatu hal positif bagi bangsa Indonesiajika dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Membahas mengenai kekayaan sumber daya manusia
yang dimiliki oleh Indonesia, menurut data statistik masih terdapat 4,82% dari
281.603,8 juta jiwa yang masih merupakan pengangguran terbuka. Cara alternatif yangbisa diterapkan adalah dengan memberdayakan SDM melalui program kewirausahaan
yang bisa dimulai dengan memberikan pendidikan kewirausahaan kepada mahasiswa
pada saat mereka menimba ilmu di perguruan tinggi. Hal itu tercermin dari pendapat
yang disampaikan oleh Gulzar & Fayaz (2021) yang menyatakan bahwasanya generasi
mudah merupakan insan yang memegang peranan penting untuk kemajuan bangsa
kedepannya. Tidak hanya sampai di sana, perlu adanya kegiatan yang mendorong
critical thinking dari mahasiswa agar mahasiswa mampu melihat segala sesuatu dari
berbagai sudut pandang yang berbeda dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan solusi kreatif
yang ditemukan. Berbicara mengenai kreativitas, mahasiswa psikologi memiliki
keunggulannya sendiri yang disinyalir sangat berguna untuk mampu mengembangkan
produk yang berguna bagi masyarakat luas sesuai dengan kebutuhan psikologis.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk
memberikan gambaran faktual mengenai fenomena yang dialami subjek penelitian di
lapangan dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga setiap sampel
memiliki kesempatan yang sama. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 95 mahasiswa jurusan psikologi Universitas Tarumanagara yang sudah mengambil mata kuliah
psikopreneurship. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh
positif dan signifikan antara pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap niat berwirausaha,
namun untuk kreativitas dinyatakan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan
terhadap niat berwirausaha. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlu dilanjutkannya
pendidikan kewirausahaan dan konsistensi dari perguruan tinggi untuk terus
menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung munculnya ide kreatif dari setiap mahasiswa
sehingga kepercayaan diri dari mahasiswa bisa terus meningkat dan niat berwirausaha
akan tumbuh dengan perlahan.
