Abstract

GOTO merupakan salah satu perusahaan startup terbesar di Indonesia yang
menunjukkan penurunan saham yang besar setelah IPO, yakni 73%. GOTO juga
melakukan PHK besar pada tahun 2023 dan 2024. Pada Januari 2024, GOTO
kemudian diakuisisi oleh TikTok Nusantara (SG) Pte. Ltd. dengan investasi sebesar
USD 1,5 miliar atau memiliki saham GOTO sebesar 75%. GOTO sendiri memiliki
kontribusi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, salah satunya dengan
memberikan nilai tambah 1,8 hingga 2,2% GDP Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan
menunjukkan bahwa GOTO menunjukkan kinerja saham yang mengalami penurunan
besar namun memberikan kontribusi besar pada pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja keuangan GOTO berdasarkan analisis
rasio keuangan secara komparatif, yakni membandingkan kinerja keuangan sebelum
diakuisisi dan setelah diakuisisi oleh TikTok Nusantara (SG) Pte. Ltd. Periode
penelitian adalah kuartal I hingga III tahun 2023 dan 2024. Rasio keuangan yang
diteliti adalah rasio solvabilitas, profitabilitas, dan likuiditas. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan rasio solvabilitas dan profitabilitas cenderung lebih rendah setelah
diakuisisi, namun pada rasio likuiditas semakin tinggi setelah diakuisisi.

GOTO is one of the largest startup companies in Indonesia that showed a large decline
in shares after the IPO, namely 73%. GOTO also carried out major layoffs in 2023
and 2024. In January 2024, GOTO was then acquired by TikTok Nusantara (SG) Pte.
Ltd. with an investment of USD 1.5 billion or owning 75% of GOTO shares. GOTO
itself has a positive contribution to Indonesia's economic growth, one of which is by
providing added value of 1.8 to 2.2% of Indonesia's GDP. Overall, it shows that GOTO
shows stock performance that has experienced a large decline but has made a major
contribution to Indonesia's economic growth. This study aims to analyze GOTO's
financial performance based on a comparative financial ratio analysis, namely
comparing financial performance before being acquired and after being acquired by
TikTok Nusantara (SG) Pte. Ltd. The research period is the first to third quarters of
2023 and 2024. The financial ratios studied are solvency, profitability, and liquidity
ratios. The results of the study show that the solvency and profitability ratios tend to
be lower after being acquired, but the liquidity ratio is higher after being acquired.
