Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisapengaruh reputasi auditor, ukuran
perusahaan, financialaleverage, dan return on asset (ROA) terhadap fenomena
underpricing saham pada perusahaanayang melakukan InitialaPublic Offering (IPO)
di Bursa EfekaIndonesia (BEI) pada periode 2021 hingga 2023. IPO merupakan
mekanisme penting untuk perusahaan mengumpulkan dana, namun seringkali
mengalami perbedaan harga antaraapasar perdana danapasar sekunder, yang dikenal
sebagai underpricing. Faktor-faktorayang ditelitiadalam penelitianaini meliputi
reputasiaauditor, ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage, dan ROA. Penelitian
iniamenggunakan metode purposiveasampling dengan sampel sebanyak 131
perusahaanayang memenuhi kriteria dari 192 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI. Hasil
analisis menunjukkanabahwa reputasiaauditor berpengaruh signifikan
terhadapaunderpricing saham, sementara ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage, dan
ROA tidak berpengaruhasignifikan. Tetapi, keempat variabel tersebut, secara

ini memberikan pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktorayang mempengaruhi
underpricingssaham pada perusahaanaIPO di Indonesia, dengan menekankan
pentingnya reputasi auditor dalam meningkatkan kredibilitas dan kepercayaan
investor.

This study
aaims to analyze the impact of auditor’s reputation, company size, financial
leverage, and return on assets (ROA) on the phenomenon of stock underpricingain
companies that conducted Initial PublicaOfferings (IPOs) on the IndonesiaaStock
Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. IPOs are an important mechanism for companies
to raise funds; however, they often experience price discrepancies betweenathe
primary and secondaryamarkets, known as underpricing. The factors examined in this
study include auditor’s reputation, companyasize, financialaleverage, and ROA. The
research uses purposive sampling with aasample of 131 companies that meet the
criteria from the 192 companiesalisted on the IDX. The analysis results show that
auditor’s reputation significantly affects stock underpricing, while company size,
financial leverage, and ROA do not have a significant impact. However, theseafour
variables collectively have aasignificant effectaon stock underpricing. The conclusion
provides insights into the factors influencing stock underpricing in IPO companies
inaIndonesia, emphasizing the importanceaof auditor reputation in enhancing
credibility and investor confidence.
