Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage,
pengeluaran modal, dan peluang pertumbuhan terhadap cash holding. Subjek penelitian
adalah perusahaan property dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia
selama tahun 2017-2021. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling,
dan diperoleh 46 sampel perusahaan dengan total data sampel sebanyak 230 perusahaan
selama tahun 2017-2021. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda.
Data diolah dengan menggunakan program EViews versi 12. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan peluang pertumbuhan berpengaruh positif
signifikan terhadap cash holding, sedangkan leverage dan pengeluaran modal tidak
berpengaruh terhadap cash holding.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, capital
expenditures, and growth opportunities on cash holdings. The research subjects were
property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during
2017-2021. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method, and 46
sample companies were obtained with a total sample data of 230 companies during
2017-2021. Data analysis technique using multiple regression analysis. Data were
processed using the EViews program version 12. The results of this study indicate that
profitability and growth opportunities have a significant positive effect on cash
holdings, while leverage and capital expenditures have no effect on cash holdings.
