Abstract
PENGARUH LIKUIDITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN
TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS
This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of liquidity,
leverage, and company size on profitability. The subject in this study are
manufacturing companies in the primary consumer goods sector that have been
consistently listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 4 years, namely the 20192022
period. This study used 29 manufacturing companies in the primary
consumer goods sector which had been selected through a purposive sampling
method with a total of 116 data for four years. The data used is secondary data
which was then tested using Eviews program version 12. The results of this study
indicate that liquidity and firm size do not have a positive effect on profitability,
and leverage has a negative effect on profitability.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti secara empiris mengenai
pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas.
Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang
konsumen primer yang terdaftar secara konsisten di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama
4 tahun yaitu periode 2019-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan 29 perusahaan
manufaktur sektor barang konsumen primer yang telah diseleksi melalui metode
purposive sampling dengan total 116 data selama empat tahun. Data yang
digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang kemudian diolah menggunakan
program Eviews versi 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas dan
ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas, serta leverage
berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas.
