Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of financial leverage, firm size, capital structure,
and liquidity on financial performance of consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on
IDX for period 2019-2021. Sample selected using purposive sampling of secondary
data with total 57 companies and 142 data. In this research, multiple linear
regression tested using Eviews 12 and Microsoft Excel 2016. The result shown that
financial leverage has negative and insignificant effect on financial performance,
firm size has positive and significant effect on financial performance, capital
structure has negative and significant effect on financial performance, and liquidity
has positive and insignificant effect on financial performance. The implication of this
research is the need for a company to have competent management to increased its
financial performance so the company can continue its business optimally.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh financial leverage, firm size,
capital structure, dan liquidtity terhadap financial performance perusahaan consumer
non-cyclicals di BEI periode 2019-2021.
Sampel dipilih menggunakan purposive
sampling dari data sekunder dengan total 57 perusahaan dan 142 data. Pada penelitian
dilakukan uji regresi linear berganda menggunakan software Eviews 12 dan Microsoft
Ecxel 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan financial leverage berpengaruh negatif dan
tidak signifikan terhadap financial performance, firm size berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap financial performance, capital structure berpengaruh negatif dan
signifikan terhadap financial performance, dan liquidity berpengaruh positif dan tidak
signifikan terhadap financial performance. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah
perlunya perusahaan untuk memiliki kualitas manajemen tinggi untuk meningkatkan
kinerja keuangannya, sehingga perusahaan dapat melanjutkan keberlangsungan
usahanya secara optimal.
