Abstract
With the development of technologies, some engineers sll have a limit about technologies that can help
them on their project. One of the technologies in the construcon field is Building Informaon Modelling
(BIM). BIM is an innovaon from Informaon Communicaon Technology (ICT) in the construcon world.
Applicaons from BIM used in this research are Cubicost Take-off Architecture & Structure (TAS) for concrete
working volume calculaon and Cubicost Take-off Reinforcement Bar (TRB) for reinforcement working
volume calculaon. In this research, the writer aims to compare the calculaon of roof plate working volume
between the Building Informaon Modeling method with the convenonal method. On concrete working
volume calculaon with Cubicost TAS, the calculaon has the same number as convenonal calculaon or
having 0% differenal. The working volume calculaon between Cubicost TRB and convenonal calculaon
has an accurate result with a differenal of 0.59% on reinforcement. The calculaon process with Cubicost,
which has an automac system, is shorter and not taking much me than the convenonal one, which has a
step-by-step process and formula that the writer should be studied first
