Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the factors that affect the
capital structure in the food and beverage sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange (BEI) in the year 2008-2014. The data sample of 8 companies. This
study used multiple regression to examine the effect of crisis, profitability, firm
size, and growth on the debt-to-equity ratio. The results of this study indicate
simultaneous crisis, profitability, size, and growth affect the debt-to-equity
ratio. Partially, profitability and crisis affect the debt-to-equity ratio while firm
size and asset growth not affect the debt-to-equity ratio.
