Abstract
In adolescence, individual can get a lot of changing. One of the unseen changing is self-concept. Self-concept is a perception and evaluation about self that consist of belief about the strength and weakness. The component of self-concept also influence of judge from another to individual. Self-concept can be determine individual’s behaviour, such as achievement motivation. Achievement motivation is a internal stimulus to reach success, doing the best, solving problems, and being superior from another. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between self-concept with achievement motivation in adolescence. The subject of this research were 174 students from SMAN 2 in class 10. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The data were analyzed through Spearman’s Rho correlation test. The result showed there was positive and significant relationship between self-concept with achievement motivation in adolescence.
