Abstract

"This research is designed to explore the difference of locus of control between drugs addicted teenagers and non-addicted teenagers. With this research, the researcher tried to understand whether there is a significant difference of locus of
control between drugs addicted teenagers and non-addicted ones. The subjects in this research are teenagers aged between 18 to 24 years old, who has been under rehabilitation program at RSKO Fatmawati Jakarta. This research studied a sample of 60 teenagers which consist of 30 persons of drugs addicted teenagers under rehabilitation program and 30 persons of non-addicted ones. The required data of this research is collected using a quesionaire. The collected data is analyzed using chi-square analysis. The analysis resulted a x2(2,60) value of 22,5 with p < 0,05 . Thus the decision is to reject Ho which means that there is a Significant difference of locus of control between drugs addicted teenagers and non-addicted ones.
